Speed Climbing

Round 1: Each climber gets a turn on both climbs for their category

Knockout (Rounds 2-4): The Times from round 1 are made into preliminary placings and are used to create a line up for the knockout rounds.

Bonus Round: The 4 Climbers who made it to the last round of the knockouts get a challenge round for 1/2 and 3/4 positions.

Difficulty

All climbers will get a turn to try 3 selected climbs in a ‘flash format’. The Climber will Climb as High as possible and collect points for where they fall. Each climber gets 1 try per climb.

Flash Format: This means that you can watch other people try the climb before you

Competitors in the Advanced Category will compete in their 3 climbs in onsight format.

Onsight Format: Competitors do not get to watch others try their climbs.
