Mountainfilm on Tour comprises 10 all new short films not seen before in other Australian film tours. The films feature an awesome mix of skiing, rafting, mountaineering, expedition travel, cultural and environmental stories. This is an event to inspire you to take on the world and experience all it has to offer.

Mountainfilm is one of the world’s best mountain film festivals, featured in the 2017 Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World by MovieMaker magazine. The festival has been held each year since 1979, with the best films then touring more than 150 locations around the world. The night will also feature a special screening of a “Waters of the Greenstone”- Through the lense of one of New Zealand’s most important cultural symbols – Pounamu – two women, Robyn and Hollie, attempt to tackle the World’s Oldest Adventure Race – The Kathmandu Coast to Coast.
